My treatments were 15 minutes each. As well as brow threading, I wanted a nail colour to compliment my outfit of the day.Yes that’s right, It was all about my #OOTD. I was recommended one of Essie’s new colours in silver (Apres-Chic – 939) which worked well with my silver top from Zara, and H&M jacket with silver epaulettes! Metallic colours tend to suit most outfits; working well as an accent colour. I would definitely consider silver nails again to compliment an outfit for a Christmas or New Year’s Eve party. If you’d prefer to be as “good as gold” then try this colour from the Essie range. As part of your Pick’N’Mix 10 minute treats, I would strongly advise an express manicure along with a half leg and under arm wax so you shine bright like a diamond in your little black dress. All of this for £33.50 instead of £42. I also thought this was too good to be true.
One top tip for you all. It’s worth investing in Essie’s Quick Dry Drops which Cucumba applied to my nails after I had them painted. This is what I call magic in a bottle which dried my nails in under 5 minutes after which I had Solaroil by CND massaged into my cuticles. These days, I prefer having manicures as opposed to shellac just to give my nails a break from consistent gel use! After a while, you’ll notice stronger and healthier looking nails.
