Style Icon’s The F Word: Pimms at Wimbledon!!
Wimbledon season is upon us once again!! It will be the 128th edition of the Wimbledon Championship this year running from 23rd June – 6th July 2014. To all patriotic fans especially of Tim Henman, Style Icon’s advice is to go and watch the games in style whilst sipping on a glass of ice cold Pimms!! Make a day of it with your besties!! In a dilemma about what to where?? Fear not as Style Icon’s The F Word has all the answers to what is currently sizzling this summer!! You can’t go wrong with a contemporary look but in keeping with Wimbledon tradition opt for a classic ensemble!! Leave the all white outfit to the tennis players!! Create a visual juxtaposition with traditional tartan!! You’ll get to play at Wimbledon too with your own individual style by adding some vibrant colours to a canvas of white and green!! On that note, Style Icon would like to introduce Omar Mansoor, a London based designer known for his intricate work, signature embellishments and classic cuts. For the last 5 years, Omar has designed event-themed collections for Royal Ascot.
This year, Omar produced an exclusive collection for Wimbledon. Each dress is classic in style made in Scottish Tartan, and comes in six different colours. Tailored in a sheath silhouette that skims the figure in the most flattering way, these dresses will compliment any frame. Style Icon’s top tip: wear your dress with ankle boots or the latest converse for a slightly more casual/smart look. Team with a cross body bag, sun hat, and a pair of Ray Ban!! Mission accomplished – Wimbledon 2014 dressed in style with the besties!!
Omar Mansoor is stocked in Creativations – Chelsea. 301 Fulham Road, London, SW10 9QH.
