Style Icon’s The Fashion Word: A New Angel’s in Town. This One’s No Secret
Wouldn’t it be lovely to have consistently sunny weather! Palm trees, a beach, roller blading in the park or along Marina Del Rey!! Wait one second, “I must be dreaming” I say to myself as reality kicks in towards the end of my Beauty Angel treatment at Cucumba! This angel sure does make you feel good, and some how stimulates your imagination of all things vibrant and full of positive energy. This is no ordinary beauty treatment. Some may think it’s just like having a sunbed but the beauty angel treatment is very different. Also known as ‘The New Beautifying Light’ Cucumba offers this treatment in a 20 minute session. I would advise you to drink a glass of water initially so as to feel less dehydrated. You’ll then need to lay down flat on a massage couch and wear a pair of goggles (to protect your eyes) after which the latest energising light technology (ELT) is placed just above your head in the form of spectrums with intense light that penetrates deep into the skin. This is purely used for the face and shoulder areas as opposed to the entire body!
At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect but as the gentle light warmed my skin I suddenly felt extremely comfortable like I was sunbathing on a beach somewhere hot. Then came more thoughts of happiness, and the vibe of summer in the guise of days out at Wimbledon or having a picnic in Hyde Park. I really was seeing a beautiful angel in the midst of my dreamy state hence why the beauty angel treatment can easily become addictive. I, for one, take vitamin D on a daily basis as it contributes to that ‘feel good factor’ especially in an environment where there isn’t much sunshine. The latter helps to uplift your mood which the beauty angel does within 20 minutes. Even after the treatment, my skin was glowing as well as my mood. When you are randomly stopped by a passersby who continues to say “you look great” then you know you are doing something right.
