Style Icon’s The Fashion Word: Elton John’s Oscar Viewing Party
What a great start to the year!! Style Icon made it to LA for The Oscars. Sunday 22nd February 2015 marked The 87th Academy Award Ceremony!! Julianne Moore picked up an Oscar for Best Actress for Still Alice. Eddie Redmayne; Best Actor for The Theory of Everything…and the list goes on!! The stars came up trumps in the style stakes!! Fashion always seems to be at its best when red carpet Hollywood glam is concerned!! Here are some of Style Icon’s Best Dressed #Oscars2015.
The fun didn’t stop on the red carpet!! As well as a night of inspiration, and a reflection of what it takes to reach to the top, Style Icon was pleased to attend Elton John’s Oscar Viewing Party to witness all the red carpet action. This star studded event took place in West Hollywood Park. The menu design and dinner was prepared by chef Gordon Ramsay, and Nile Rogers & Chic provided a ground-breaking performance!! Elton John helped to raise $5.8 million for John’s AIDS Foundation!!! Style Icon was in total awe of everything including the fashion of course!! One of the stars of the night was Amy Willerton who Style Icon dressed for this event wearing Celia Kritharioti; the designer behind Kim Kardashian’s look at Elton John’s Oscar Viewing Party last year!!
Overall, this was a night to remember not only for the fashion, and the amazing people Style Icon got to meet but for the opportunity to meet such innovators within the entertainment industry who inspire others to realise and work towards fulfilling their dreams!!
