Style Icon’s latest fashion adventure was in Paris for Haute Couture Week!! Wow!!! What a week this was!! Have you ever wandered where some of the hottest super stars in the world find their red carpet looks?? Or what is meant by Haute Couture, and where to find it?? Then your answer is indeed Paris!! FYA: Haute means “High” and “Couture” meaning sewing which brings together high sewing all by hand!! Style Icon had the privilege of meeting some of the best fashion couturiers in the entire world in Paris. Before more is revealed on this subject matter, however, Style Icon would love to enlighten you about several looks on the high street that will make you look and feel like a star!! If you have been following our mood boards lately then you’ll like the ones we have for you this week that will indeed satisfy your fashion fixes.
One of the highlights of Paris Haute Couture week was the Versace show where Jennifer Lopez graced the red carpet looking like the true fashion icon she is!! Want a similar look?? Look no further!!
Jennifer Lopez’s outfit was a stunning Versace piece of course which made a fashion statement. Looking at past Style Icons, you’ll always find similarities between past iconic figures who made their own mark and those of today!! ” Fashion fades but only style remains the same” Coco Chanel. Style Icon can’t help but see a striking resemblance between Pam Grier and J Lo!!
Pamela Suzette “Pam” Grier is an American Actress who became famous in the early 1970s after starring in a string of moderately successful movies including Foxy Brown (1970). Her career was revitalized in 1997 after her appearance in Quentin Tarantino’s film Jackie Brown (1997) for which she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress.

Another fashion star to have graced the catwalk shows during Paris Haute Couture Week was Emma Watson seen at many shows including Christian Dior.
