As a lead up to this crazy time on the fashion calender, Paris Haute Couture Week took place from Thursday 3rd July – Friday 11th July 2014!! It was such a pleasure to be in Paris during fashion week; a city full of culture and architectural timelessness, and of course magical fashion influenced by Parisian tradition and international couturiers to mark this special occasion on the fashion map!! “Je ne sais pas ce que” is all that springs to mind!! “I don’t know what” it is about Paris but it leaves a lasting impression on you!!

Rami Kadi is an extremely talented couturier born in New Jersey, USA and raised in Lebanon!! He presented his second couture collection during Paris Fashion Week!! If you are a vivacious fashion lover and follower then you’ll immediately become addicted to Rami Kadi’s designs!! Not only does each piece from his collection show genius craftsmanship, there’s also an expression of cutting edge high fashion that brings fourth alluring femininity. There’s a combination of beads and little stones, feathers embellished to create a fascinating coat and a palette of warm colours: brick red, okra, aquamarine, and black & white.
Style Icon, already an avid fan of Rami Kadi, was thrilled to be invited to see this collection in the flesh!! There’s nothing like actually seeing a work of art that you can touch to appreciate contrasting textures of fabric, beautiful colours and various silhouettes to flatter the body!! In fact, the chemistry of Rami Kadi’s collection is based on “deconstructed silhouettes, and edgy cuts. The volumes play with proportions: a fitted top mixed with a full skirt” Genius!!! Any lady what ever her shape and size would feel like a goddess in Rami Kadi’s dresses!! This is the true meaning of fashion, to feel beautiful and exquisite just like the clothes you’re in!!
