Roberto Cavalli MFW AW14-15
Prior to the Roberto Cavalli catwalk show, Style Icon immersed herself backstage to see the finishing touches being applied to the make-up artistry and styling of the models who looked even better backstage being up close and personal with them! One gets to see the amount of sheer hard work put into organising such a show from such a close stance which then translates into a rhythmic theatrical show of future trends! Roberto Cavalli, by far, was one of the best visual spectacles at Milan Fashion Week. The collection was on fire just like the set literally!! Signature looks were exquisite fur, Cavalli’s trademark animal print, skinny pants and 1920s style dresses with the ‘Wow’ factor! A classical collection with a contemporary twist!! I love every piece, every accessory all of which are perfect for Red Carpet affairs.
Florence-born Roberto Cavalli represents, in his creative vision, glam, rock and a wildness synonymous with animal prints. He opened his first boutique in Saint-Tropez in 1972. Nothing is too glamourous or flamboyant for the man himself who Style Icon met at the opening of his new boutique via Montenapoleone. It was such a pleasure to be in the presence of such a legend as well as to witness his remarkable catwalk show!
