La Nuit de la Mode – A Feast for the Eyes
The fashion fiesta that took place on 23rd of September in Molton House, was simply incredible. I can’t express how lucky I am to have won a ticket to an event full of raw designer talents, new trendsetting apparels and styles and of course champagne! YES lots of them. Celebrating the A/W London Fashion Week, the night was filled with a bunch of eager people waiting to find out more about the upcoming trends.

Natalie and EndZone Image make-up artist
Natalie Robinson, founder of Style Icon organised this whole event. She aimed to celebrate fashion week with a night of fun-filled makeovers, style tips and luxury designer wear. Together with End Zone image (make up artists), Nicolina Shoe and designer wear from Epoque, Kamola, Ayuk & Adora and Alexandra Kapsala a fashion show was held inside Molton House.
Entering the read silhouetted room, filled with soft black sofas the ambiance of mysterious fashion was already set. I met the other lucky winner, Vanessa while waiting for the rest of the MRH crew. As the DJ was keeping us entertained with a play-list of upbeat music, I couldn’t wait to see the model tear the runway with their stunning style. However, as I looked around the room I was wondering where Natalie was and wanted to discover more about her.
Lucky enough, Vanessa interviewed her and got to know more about her. Natalie Robinson has been in the fashion world for almost a decade and she has dressed up a number of A-list celebrities. While being interviewed by Vanessa she even filled us in on a little secret, when asked about her accomplishments. She said that finding the perfect dress for HER (an anonymous celebrity) for the Oscars was truly satisfying.
When the catwalk started, models wore Nicolina Shoes and apparels by the three designers were apparent. Undoubtedly, the intense gaze of the models would not have been completed without the beautiful make up work by Semone Ballin and Melanie Leonard, from end zone.
Red Velvet Dress
During the catwalk numerous dresses were made from velvet and lace, which means we are expected to see a lot of this, this season. The dresses had an edgy but elegant look to it and there were numerous designs, which had an open back. Yes, definitely they were bringing some sexy back.
All and all it was an unforgettable experience! And I have added a few links about the various designers showcased! And, of course Natalie’s style-icon site.
