DSQUARED2 MFW AW14-15
Style Icon’s fashion adventure in Milan continued with Dsquared2. The duo, Dean and Dan Caten opened their flagship store in Milan in 2007. Still going incredibly strong, their AW14-15 collection played homage to the 1960s era with a classic but yet contemporary twist. What a glamorous collection this was; fur-trimmed dresses, evening gowns, animal prints, and mondrian dresses came out to play with a beautifully embellished new arm accessory to compliment some of the looks. Big caps appear to be the hot new accessory for next season which was a recurring motif in the collection. Swing jackets, and classic coats are also statement looks to watch out for!
Dean and Dan are exceptionally talented designers with a sharp eye for detail, re interpreting old classics as the new must-haves in contemporary fashion. Style Icon felt privileged to have met the fabulous duo backstage after the show.
