Blumarine MFW AW14-15
Day 3 of Milan Fashion Week showcased more amazing fashion shows! The highlight of the day being Blumarine. Style Icon got to mingle back stage with a number of models; catching a glimpse of the collection prior to the catwalk spectacle! One of Style Icon’s favorite AW14-15 collections; exquisite designs rich in colour, detail and cut played homage to the creative vision of Anna Molinari and Gianpaolo Tarabini who started the Blumarine line in 1977 in Carpi, Italy. Contrasting textures, signature colours such as green, blue, metallic gold and red decorated the catwalk layered with a white, soft textured carpet!! The entire show was aesthetically pleasing along with providing a real life picture of fourth coming trends! The ‘Big T’ or ‘Big Trend’ is definitely fur in the guise of gilets, and coats; particularly white fur which this collection applauded!!
