This year‘s 66th Venice Film Festival was the place to be from Wednesday 9th September 2009, the opening ceremony of this very special occasion!! Style Icon had the privilege of attending the festival which proved to be a fashion marathon for Natalie Robinson from Style Icon, celebrity personal stylist.

“The festival was full of glamorous people, looking fantastically stylish’’ Natalie says to describe the event. Natalie spent most of her time in her ‘Office’ flats pursuing the stylish kings and queens of the festival for that snap shot of effortless style.

Many celebrities graced the red carpet such as Eva Mendes, Tilda Swinton and George Clooney. Natalie met the two actresses who looked absolutely stunning in their outfits. On the boat of Alberta Ferretti, the beautiful Eva Mendes wore nothing but an Alberta Ferretti blue dress. The dress was perfect for Eva Mendes Natalie says “..as it reflected elegance and class just like the actress herself” known for starring along side Denzel Washington in ‘Training Day’. On the same boat, the ubiquitous Paris Hilton, known for her party antics, partied the night away.

Of course, the other main highlight of the evening was meeting Alberta Ferretti herself. She looked amazing in HER dress. She has boutiques worldwide, her flagship store based on Sloane St, London. Natalie also had the privilege of meeting Nadja Swarovski, vice president of international communications for Swarovski Crystal. She looked chic in an Alexander Mcqueen suit!! Absolutely fabulous!!

Chef Vivek Singh of The Cinnamon Club’s restaurant fame opened the very trendy Cinnamon Kitchen and its bar Anise in November, 2008. He teamed up with Gspot Cosmetics and personal stylist Natalie Robinson to offer an evening of glamourous make-overs and style advise accompanied by delicious canapes.

Style Icon was one of the key features at the official opening of London Fashion Week in February, 2009. Corporate style advise was provided to VIP guests in the hospitality area, and during London Fashion Weekend Natalie gave top style tips in the VIP Chambord Lounge.
